Information we collect

We collect information in a few specific ways:

• •Account information: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google to create and manage your account.
• •Job applications and leads: If you apply to a job, submit a job alert request, or fill out an interest form, we collect the email address, visa status, and any other details you provide in that form.
• •Resume uploads: If you use the dashboard to apply to jobs, any resume you upload is stored on your account so you can reuse it for future applications.
• •Payment information: If you purchase a paid product (dashboard access, sponsor data, attorney or employer advertising), payment is processed entirely by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card number.
• •Account cookies: We set a session cookie (h1b_user_session) to keep you signed in, and a separate cookie (h1b_sponsor_access) to remember paid sponsor-database access. Neither is used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
• •Analytics and advertising: We use Google Analytics to understand site traffic and usage, Microsoft Clarity to record anonymized session behavior (clicks, scrolling, page navigation) so we can improve the site, and Google AdSense to show ads. These set their own cookies and may use your browsing activity on this site for advertising, including personalized ads, subject to each provider's own privacy policy.

How we use this information

• •To operate your account, dashboard, and saved applications.
• •To send transactional and requested emails (job alerts, welcome emails after a purchase, account-related notices) through our email provider, Resend.
• •To process payments for paid products through Stripe.
• •To respond to support, employer, or data-licensing requests sent to our contact emails.
• •To understand site traffic and usage (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) and to show ads (Google AdSense).

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

What data is public, not personal

The H1B sponsor, employer, salary, and LCA filing data shown throughout this site comes from public U.S. Department of Labor and USCIS disclosure records. This is public government data about employers and filings, not personal data about you, and is unrelated to your account information.

Third-party services we use

• •Railway: hosts our application and database.
• •Stripe: processes payments for paid products.
• •Resend: delivers transactional and job-alert emails.
• •Google Sign-In: handles account authentication if you choose to sign in with Google.
• •Greenhouse: the source for live job postings displayed from employers who use Greenhouse's job board API. We do not send your data to Greenhouse.
• •Google Analytics: site traffic and usage measurement.
• •Microsoft Clarity: anonymized session recording and heatmaps to help us improve the site.
• •Google AdSense: displays ads on this site and may use cookies for ad personalization.

Your choices

• •Unsubscribe from job alerts or newsletter emails using the link in any email we send.
• •Delete your account, resume, or saved data, or ask what we hold on you, by emailing [email protected].
• •Cancel a paid subscription any time from your Stripe customer portal link.
• •Opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings, or block analytics cookies in your browser's privacy settings.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we collect or use your information, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
