Our media sales division helps local, regional, and national brands reach potential customers through multiscreen TV advertising. Our ad tech division FreeWheel provides comprehensive adtech that makes it easier to buy and sell premium video advertising across all screens, data types, and sales channels.

Job Summary

This New York-based role will report to the VP, Industry Verticals and will initially serve as an individual contributor responsible for building, developing strategy, and growing revenue across the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, and Financial Services verticals. The position will focus on generating net-new advertiser demand, developing senior-level brand-direct relationships, and partnering closely with agency counterparts to create scalable advertising sales solutions. The right candidate will bring experience across one or more of the assigned verticals, a consultative brand-direct selling approach, and the entrepreneurial instinct to establish a new growth business. The role will develop the vertical strategy and go-to-market approach, with the potential to build and lead a team as the business scales.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Lead revenue growth and sales strategy across the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, and Financial Services verticals, with a primary focus on generating net-new demand, building client-direct relationships, and unlocking incremental advertising investment. 

• Develop and manage senior-level client relationships, partnering with agency counterparts to create demand, expand partnerships, and drive net-new revenue across the Comcast portfolio of advertising capabilities. 

• Define and execute the vertical strategy and go-to-market plan, including category priorities, target accounts, value propositions, and the sales motions required to scale the business. 

• Translate marketplace trends, advertiser priorities, regulatory considerations, and vertical-specific insights into consultative sales strategies and outcome-driven media solutions. 

• Build and execute account plans designed to deepen customer engagement, develop pipeline, and accelerate revenue conversion across assigned verticals. 

• Partner cross-functionally with sales leadership, product, marketing, research, operations, and measurement teams to deliver strategic solutions that align with client objectives. 

• Manage revenue forecasting, pipeline health, and business performance reporting for the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, and Financial Services verticals. 

• Recommend future resource and organizational needs and, as the business scales, help establish the structure, capabilities, and talent strategy required to build a high-achieving vertical sales team. 

• Optimize the utilization of advertising sales resources and inventory opportunities to align with corporate objectives, client demand, and marketplace opportunities. 

• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. 

• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Compensation

New York Pay Range: $171,347.58 - $257,021.37

Targeted Commission: $160,000.00

Our sales compensation programs offer the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets.

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
