Remote work does not exempt an employer from sponsorship requirements, the H1B rules attach to the employer and the worksite location on file with the Department of Labor, not to whether the role happens to be remote. A growing share of the listings here are remote-eligible, filter by "Remote" above to see them on their own. If a role is remote, the employer's LCA must still list a worksite (often their headquarters or a satellite office) and pay the prevailing wage for that location, so remote does not mean lower scrutiny or a lower salary floor.
