Job Summary/Basic Functions
The Senior Financial Assistance Analyst plays a crucial role in administering and managing financial aid processes. The Senior Financial Assistance Analyst is responsible for various tasks, including but not limited to ISIR loading, disbursement of financial aid funds, reconciliation reporting, submitting corrections, running pre-packaging and post-packaging reports, and sending or loading KHEAA verification files. In addition to running daily processes, the Senior Financial Assistance Analyst will also play a key role on the Data and Analytics Team to help automate and update existing financial aid processes using the Banner system.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications or coursework in financial aid administration are a plus.
Experience: Applicant must have at least three (3) years of experience in the administration of student financial aid. Experience in Banner, Slate, and Kentucky State Financial Aid preferred.

Job Duties:
- 60% – Running financial aid processes, including but not limited to ISIRS loading, disbursement of financial aid funds, reconciliation reporting, submitting corrections, running pre-packaging and post-packaging reports, sending or loading KHEAA verification files, as well as participation in testing Banner patches and releases for financial aid. – (Essential)
- 20% – Working with the Data and Analytics Team to identify areas for automation within the Financial Aid Office. Testing newly automated processes to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance. This includes creating test plans, executing test cases, identifying, and resolving issues, and validating the functionality of the automated solution. – (Essential)
- 15% – Support the Associate Director of Enrollment Data & Analytics by preparing accurate and timely reports, feedback, and process improvement and automation recommendations. – (Essential)
- 5% – Other duties as assigned. – (Essential)
