Enterprise Architecture is seeking a solution/enterprise architect to support the Assist Customer product portfolio PDO teams to provide strong strategic and technical leadership. Assist Customer Architecture helps enable key Assist Customer initiatives to life working with multi-functional IT and business partners improving the Global Contact Center Technology to enhance both agent and customer experience.
The Solution Architect should possess a strong passion for technology and be customer oriented. The focus will be establishing technical/architecture point of views and consult on new/existing technical integrations with our CRM. This is a phenomenal opportunity to hone technical skills and grow business sense/leadership/interpersonal skills! The selected Architect will have established experience in inspiring change, and have experience leading the development of innovative ideas from concept to fruition.
What you’ll be able to do:
- Business, Information, Application and Technology Architecture
- Technology Lifecycle Management
- Application Portfolio Management
- Architecture Governance
- Integration with other IT Systems
- Develop strategy and requirements for systems that will implement Architecture processes, standards, methodologies, and artifacts
- Ensure internal and external partner requirements are taken into consideration when making architecture recommendations
- Work with external suppliers to improve/align COTS products “out of the box” capability to strategy
- Become knowledgeable in the use of required COTS products
- Align business and technical requirements among all team members
- Assist in development of training material for architects and other users
- Provide a regular cadence with partners for information sharing and capability demonstrations
- Support efforts of Architecture Management in driving and maintaining standards
- Prepare presentation materials for the Architecture leadership team and other audiences
- Research and evaluate new technologies and tools and participate in PoC effort
- Develop strategies and deliver insight on incorporating new technologies into CX initiatives
The minimum requirements we seek:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of experience as an architect on multiple large-scale products with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce.com, or similar Contact Center product
- 2+ years of working experience on Enterprise Initiatives
- Experience working with cloud technologies (Azure, PCF, AWS, GCP) such as researching the best use of the Azure products and the ecosystem, managing and making sure all the integrations will work in an Azure Ecosystem, etc.
Our preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) methods and implementation technologies such as web services in a distributed architecture deployment so you can demonstrate the understanding of different Architecture standards and methods and the difference between SOAP and Restful API
- Experience with Ford IT architecture processes and architecture work
- Experience implementing a large-scale COTS implementation with multiple business units and integration points
- Architecture knowledge with experience in providing technical solutions for projects
- Ability to derive, define and explicitly represent various artifacts and results
- 2+ years of experience as lead architect on multiple large-scale product or enterprise initiatives
- 4+ years of demonstrate experience in interoperability standards and methods
- 2+ years of validated full application/system development lifecycle knowledge and experience
- Azure ecosystem experience (Azure, Synapse, Power Platform, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving skills including leading problem-solving teams
- Self-starter; ability to work both independently and with a team
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships across the organization.
- Provide support for application performance issues
- Experience with vendor solution evaluation processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in a Product Driven Agile Organization
