Oracle DBA
We are a fast-growing international IT company based in Greenwood Village, CO that specializes in analytics and AI solutions for financial services, manufacturing, telecommunications, government and oil and gas. We are currently looking for a highly motivated Oracle DBA with a desire to break away from the corporate work environment and embrace a small, yet rapidly growing company atmosphere.

This is an in-person position in Colorado -Not a remote opportunity.
Job Description:
- Experienced Oracle DBA, with architecture, operational support and database installations (R11 and R12) including Data Guard, Physical standby, RAC, Grid and standby replication.
- Experience with 24×7 support of production database environments
- Duties include performance and analysis and complex query performance tuning.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and verification of disaster recovery (DR) strategies
- Development of scripts for Unix, related to Oracle infrastructure and installations
- Assistance with SQL and PL/SQL development and performance analysis.
- Establishing and documenting database architectural guidelines, establishing operational best practices
- Strong skills with SQL tuning and PL/SQL debugging/tuning, ETL and Integrations
- Managing data security within the DB and on behalf of the Application
- Capacity analysis of Oracle Databases
- Design and maintain the backup & recovery system
- Implement Oracle failover technology within the DR facility
- Experienced in “Unix / Linux”
Skills Required:
Experience with Oracle RDBMS releases 10g through 18c
Ability to write efficient SQL and PL/SQL
Ability to write Unix shell or Perl scripts
Desirable Skills:
Oracle tuning skills, at SQL and database level
Experience with Oracle clusters (RAC, GRID)
Oracle-based integration experience
Experience with MS SQLServer administration and Transact SQL (or just TSQL) is a plus
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, CIS or similar discipline, or equivalent
4+ years of Oracle DBA or Oracle-based development experience
