About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer.

Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure; provides information security; and enables Wells Fargo global customers to have 24 hours a day, 7 days a week banking access through in-branch, online, ATMs, and other channels.

In this role, you will:

  • Serve as a Cloud Security Engineering Expert for high visibility cloud computing initiatives and hybrid environments
  • Design, implement and operationalize various Cloud Security tools required for a secure hybrid cloud adoption across the enterprise
  • Seek out new and emerging cloud security technologies and evaluate for inclusion in Technology’s Hybrid Cloud hosting strategy and roadmap of capabilities and solutions
  • Leverage agility and scalability of DevSecOps and automated governance to help implement secure infrastructure as a code
  • Proactively partner to update CI/CD pipelines based on trends identified in the environment
  • Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to proactively innovate and provide credible challenge and help keep Infrastructure secure and ahead of the ever evolving threat landscape.

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of information security applications and systems experience
  • 2+ years of scripting experience preferably in Terraform or CloudFormation
  • 2+ years of information security architecture, design, and consulting experience
  • 3+ years of configuration experience with Cloud service providers preferably in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or in Amazon Web Services (AWS), or MS Azure
  • 1+ year of Kubernetes experience
  • 1+ years of experience delivering complex enterprise wide cloud information technology solutions

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience securing IaaS/PaaS private cloud or DevOps environments
  • 3+ years of experience with secure DevOps and deployment automation to cloud environments
  • Knowledge and understanding of diverse platforms and operating systems, including current and emerging technologies
  • Experience with policy as code and/or development of guardrails and remediation of policy violations
  • Cloud Engineer Certifications from Azure or GCP a huge plus

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
