Job Summary/Basic Functions
EKU Housing & Residence Life fosters the development, engagement, and success of our residential communities by providing an inclusive home that enhances the collegiate experience.
Resident Advisors (RAs) facilitate student integration to the campus community, guide students as they make meaning of their collegiate experience, and help all students become the best versions of themselves. RAs are student leaders that wish to make a positive impact on the university campus.

Minimum Qualifications
- Have a minimum 2.50 cumulative GPA and be a full-time EKU student (enrolled in at least 12- credit hours).
- Must be in good judicial standing with the University.

All Applicants may have at least one, and, no more than two reference forms. Recommendation forms are due no later than January 27th, 2023 at 8:00am. All applicants must successfully complete the Leadership Seminar. The Leadership Seminar will begin in February and will end in late March. More communication on scheduling Leadership Seminar will be sent in late January following the close of applications. If you are interested in the Spring 2023 position you must complete a fall seminar which will begin in October.
If you completed the Spring 2022 Leadership Seminar, you do not have to complete the Spring 2023 Leadership Seminar to be considered for the position, but may elect to participate if you choose.
All applicants must be able to return to campus for training in early August 2023. If you wish to work in the Spring 2023 applicants must be able to return to campus for training in early January. The timeline is typically a month before classes start.
