Remote Licensed Psychotherapist (New York State LCSW, LMHC, LMFT)

Job Description

New York State Licensed Psychotherapist
Duties:
– Conduct individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical-behavioral therapy (DBT), EMDR etc.- Provide crisis intervention and management for clients experiencing acute mental health issues- Work within a collaborative care team in which you will be encouraged to participate in team meetings, supervision and case consultations- Assess and diagnose clients using diagnostic tools such as the ICD-10 coding system- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of social work- Maintain accurate and confidential client records and progress notes
Qualifications:

Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Mental Health Counseling (MHC) or other related degrees from an accredited program
Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Experience working with individuals with various mental health issues
Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and ability to effectively manage crisis situations
Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as the ICD-10 coding system for accurate assessment and diagnosis
Reliable internet connection and private space to conduct telehealth sessions
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and other professionals
Knowledge of insurance billing and documentation requirements is a plus
Bilingual preferred but not required
