Job Description

This is full time outpatient primary care Physician opportunity for a new graduate with availability of J1 waiver as well as H1B Visa sponsorship and assistance in PR application. This physician position is at the Dallas location in Dallas Metroplex at AlphaHealth Medical Associates and in affiliation with the Methodist Hospital in Dallas. The hired physician will be credentialled with and given privileges at The Methodist Group of hospitals as a staff, but is not required to see patients at the hospital. Only outpatient care is needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead a multi-disciplinary team of heath care providers, with APN, PA Support.
provide the most efficient, comprehensive, and proven care to treat the whole patient – physically, mentally, and socially – at each visit
Quality vs. Quantity Model, Typically see less than 15 patients per day
1/2 day per week as Administrative Time with no patients
Bonus incentives are based on quality metrics
No Obstetrics

Required Qualifications:

J1 wiaver-H1B Sponsorship Available.
Successful completion of an ACGME accredited 3 years residency program in Family or Internal Medicine.
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.), or M.B.B.S
Board certification or eligibility in Family or Internal Medicine
Active, unrestricted medical license in Texas
Valid DEA license
Experience with Senior Care, Geriatric
Current ACLS and BLS certification for healthcare providers (written exam and in-person assessment) at time of hire or within 30 days of hire
Basic computer literacy required, with intermediate Excel skills
Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations required
Good communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding
Bilingual in Spanish
