Polysomnography Tech I, Sleep Center
Position Highlights:
  • Position: Polysomnography Tech I, Sleep Center
  • Location: Skokie, IL
  • Full Time/Part Time: Per Diem
  • Hours: Rotating Monday-Friday, 8:00 PM to 8:30 AM, in addition to rotating weekends
  • Required Travel: Travel to other Medical Group offices will be required
What you will do:
  • Perform various sleep related Neurophysiological testing under direct supervision
  • Annotate recordings thoroughly, marking all movements, changes in controls, activation, any unusual events and changes
  • Allocate file number to recording, records patient name in log book and transfers data to network
  • Attend record review sessions with polysomnographers and other technologists
What you will need:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduation from and Accredited Neurophysiology Program is desirable
  • Skills:
  • Experience: Zero to one (0-1) year of experience as a polysomnography technologist in a teaching hospital.
