The Division of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and the Department of Pediatrics, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is recruiting a Full Time Clinician Physician. This position will be permanently located in the Erie Pennsylvania region and will be filled by a critical team member to further grow, build, and develop our existing practice. Our vision is to build a team of clinicians to serve the region. Staff based in Erie will be an integral part of the Division of Allergy and Immunology and have remote access to educational and CME activities offered on the main Pittsburgh campus. The candidate must have completed an Allergy and Immunology Fellowship and be Board Certified/Eligible in Allergy and Immunology. We serve a large and diverse community of patients in western Pennsylvania and beyond with asthma, allergies, eczema and inborn errors of immunity with well-established sub-specialty and multidisciplinary clinics for severe asthma, eczema, eosinophilic esophagitis, and inborn errors of immunity. We have a robust Food Allergy center, with dedicated research assistants to run clinical trials, a food allergy coordinator, and designation as a FARE center of excellence. The Pediatric Allergy and Immunology Division has a consult service and a vibrant Fellowship program (currently with 2 Fellows per year and opportunity to teach virtually). The Division operates in many locations across Western Pennsylvania and is poised for strong growth to provide all children with the best care.

UPMC Hamot is a 423-bed non-profit tertiary care hospital that offers a full range of inpatient services, including a multidisciplinary critical care team, as well as a variety of outpatient services. It is situated in Erie Pennsylvania which offers an abundance of resources in culture, recreation, and education. Erie and UPMC Hamot overlook Presque Isle Bay and Peninsula.
