Salary: $64,000 – $86,500 (based on experience) and comprehensive benefits (FT Only)
Program Summary
The Family Practice & Counseling Network (FPCN) provides comprehensive primary care, dental and behavioral health services. The Network consists of three (3) federally qualified health centers (FQHC) in Philadelphia:

Abbottsford Falls Family Practice & Counseling (Northwest Philly);
Stephen & Sandra Sheller 11th Street Family Health Services of Drexel University (North Philly); and
Health Annex (Southwest).

Today the FPCN serves more than 20,000 patients annually and is a NCQA certified Patient-Centered Medical Home and recognized by HRSA as a National Quality Leader for Behavioral Health.
Position Summary
The Adult/Child Outpatient Behavioral Health Therapist upholds the health center mission to deliver high quality clinical services which address the whole person and result in better health outcomes. This role ensures access to recovery-oriented Behavioral Health services and resources that the value dignity and worth of the person. This position also commits to strong consumer satisfaction and maintaining the fiscal and operational capacity of the Behavioral Health Department. All Outpatient Behavioral Health Therapists are expected to uphold the network’s mission of trauma informed care.
Responsibilities/Duties:

Psychotherapy – conduct an average of 23 individual and family therapy sessions each week, and groups as needed.
Charting – Complete all charting as needed and required by contracted funding sources: including intakes, psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, service logs, and discharge planning.
Clinical and Administrative Supervision – Participate in regular supervision with designated Clinical and Administrative Supervisors.
Participate in team meetings, case conferences, consultations, and interdisciplinary work groups as scheduled.
Crisis Intervention – Be immediately available to the Family Practice & Counseling staff during working hours in the event of a psychiatric emergency. Participate as a member of the Family Practice & Counseling staff in the event of any other kind of emergency. Participate in regular rotation as On-Call clinician after hours.
Coordination of Care – Coordinate care of clients with the psychiatrist and the Family Practice & Counseling medical staff. Refer clients to other levels of care or other services as needed.
Other duties as assigned

Essential Functions (Addendum)

ADULT THERAPIST: Psychotherapy- Conduct an average of 24 individual and family therapy sessions each week, and groups as needed.
CHILD/ADULT THERAPIST: Psychotherapy – Conduct an average of 23 individual and family therapy sessions each week, and groups as needed.
CHILD THERAPIST: Psychotherapy – Conduct an average of 22 individual and family therapy sessions each week, and groups as needed.

Required Education:

An earned master’s degree in social work, psychology or an applied mental health related field.

Required Experience:

Minimum of two years’ experience of post-master’s degree experience as a therapist

Required Qualifications:

Current license to practice in Pennsylvania as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Psychologist
Current CPR Certification
COVID Vaccinated

This currently does not include boosters.
