As a Web Developer at Amplify Cell Technologies, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company websites, company Intranet, Integration with enterprise systems and web applications development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience, optimize performance, and support our digital initiatives. Location: The person selected for this position will be required to be located within or near the Memphis Metropolitan Area where the plant will be located (Marshall County, MS).

What You will Spark at Amplify:

Website Development: Design and develop responsive websites using modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc.) to enhance user experience and achieve business objectives.
Content Management: Manage content updates, site maintenance, and ensure website functionality and performance are optimized.

Web Application Development:

Front-end technology: Expertise in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries such as React Js.
Development languages: Knowledge of server-side programming languages including Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.
Frameworks like NestJs to build out microservices.
Database and cache: Experience with DBMS technology, including SQLServer, Oracle, MongoDB and MySQL and caching mechanisms such as Redis, Memcached and Varnish.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
Basic design ability: Including knowledge of UI/UX and basic prototype design.
Server: Experience working with Nginx or Apache servers with a solid background in Linux.

E-commerce Integration: Implement and maintain e-commerce functionalities, including product catalogs, shopping carts, payment gateways, and order management systems.
SEO and Analytics: Implement SEO best practices to improve organic search visibility and integrate web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.) to monitor and optimize website performance.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, design, and IT teams to align web development projects with overall business goals and brand strategy.
Security and Compliance: Ensure website security measures are implemented and comply with industry standards and regulations (GDPR, ADA compliance, etc.).
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to website functionality, performance, and integration with third-party systems.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging web technologies and industry trends to propose and implement improvements that enhance user experience and drive business growth.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Application Development, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
Proven experience (7+ years) as a Web Application Developer or similar role, preferably in a corporate or technology-driven environment.
Proficiency in front-end development languages and frameworks (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.) and experience with backend technologies (PHP, Java, Python, etc.).
At least seven years of related technical experience, with software design, development, and implementation.
Experience with front-end technologies and single-page applications (Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript).
Experience with XML, JSON, PowerShell, batch scripting.
Experience with content management systems (WordPress, Drupal, etc.) and e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify, etc.).
Experience with agile and cloud DevOps processes and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) Ability to translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks.
Excellent knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL), SQL, and PL/SQL Excellent skills in DB schema design and SQL development.
Strong understanding of web design principles, responsive design, and user experience best practices.
Familiarity with SEO principles and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to visualize a proposed system and be able to build it.
Industry certifications in various web design and programming languages is a plus.
