The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Senior Cybersecurity Manager within Solventum supporting the Dental Solutions business, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security, compliance, and risk management of the business unit’s cyber landscape. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing security policies, managing compliance adherence, and driving cybersecurity initiatives that align with the strategic goals of the Dental Solutions Business Unit (BU) and the overarching objectives set by the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and track an inventory of BU cyber risks, vulnerability statuses, policy adherence, cybersecurity training, security exception requests, and security architecture for the respective service offerings.
Ensure compliance with BU policies and report on defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to the CISO organization on behalf of the BU.
Work with key stakeholders to align BU with regulatory compliance requirements.
Coordinate BU cyber requirements, including pen-testing, audits, and the procurement of cybersecurity technologies essential to support the business unit’s unique needs.
Accountable for evaluating and managing the security health and risk state of the BU and develop actionable intelligence aligned with accepted risk strategies.
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of the division’s cybersecurity safeguards to provide intended protection to 3M and its customers.
Incorporate security requirements specific to customer projects in all phases of the system life cycle.
Collaborate with BU Architecture, design, and development teams handling customer projects to ensure compliance with security policies and customers’ security requirements.
Engage with the CISO Threat Intelligence Security Incident Response Process team to address and manage cybersecurity incidents or vulnerabilities within the BU.
Develop and oversee plans of actions and milestones or remediation plans for identified vulnerabilities.

Your Skills and Expertise

Bachelor’s Degree and higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
10 years of broad and diverse experience in cybersecurity strategy, compliance, operations, security architecture, vulnerability management, and cloud security.

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

Strong understanding of audit/risk management methodologies and regulatory requirements related to information security, privacy, and data security.

Experience across multiple industries, handling regulatory issues and risks.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

Certifications such as ISACA CRISC or CISM, (ISC)² CISSP are advantageous.
Proven track record in risk management and technical proficiency in applying cybersecurity controls.
Application and cloud security experience
Demonstrated ability to manage complex initiatives within large enterprise settings.
Strong relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills across various stakeholder groups.
Effective presentation of complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Project management experience is highly desired.
Ability to manage multiple complex priorities and interpret policies and regulations across a large, complex business.
Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $222,044 – $271,387, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
