We have an exciting opportunity to join our Structural team to assist with drawings and modeling for water/ wastewater, facilities, and floodwall related projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to;

  • Prepares near complete sets of engineering and construction drawings which may include multiple views, detail drawings, general arrangement/layout drawings where minimal information is provided by rough sketches and/or verbal outlines of requirements.
  • Performs basic discipline related design tasks as directed.
  • Performs related CADD/technical support tasks such as plotting drawings, assembling drawing packages, preparing transmittals, preparing overnight packages, file management and/or filing prints, distributing drawings, proofreading reports, coordinating PDR/EDR and/or specifications with drawings, etc.
  • References information from vendor prints, catalogs, technical manuals, etc.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent with vocational technical training in basic CADD drafting technology and/or 3D drafting.
  • 5 years of related experience.
  • Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
  • Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • MicroStation

Skills and Abilities

  • Good communication skills with strict attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player and contributor to the overall team.
  • Possesses strong working knowledge of core CADD applications (such as AutoCAD, Revit and/or MicroStation).
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office for design related tasks primarily within the CADD environment.
