HRIS Business Analyst, Workday Reporting
Position Highlights:
  • Position: HRIS Business Analyst, Workday Reporting
  • Location: Hybrid (working remote and Warrenville/Skokie, IL)
  • Full Time/Part Time: 40 hours (Full Time)
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
What you will do:
  • Design & Distribute HR Metrics: Lead the creation of detailed HR reports, metrics, and dashboards in Workday, promoting data-backed decisions.
  • Collaborate on Reporting Needs: Partner with HR and management to grasp their reporting needs and tailor analytics solutions using Workday.
  • Examine HR Data Trends: Dive into HR data, spot trends, offer suggestions, and shape HR strategies.
  • Support & Lead HRIS Projects: Assist in team-led projects and potentially spearhead sections of broader HRIS initiatives, overseeing testing and documentation. Coordinate project activities to execute designated tasks within given tools.
  • Manage System Access: Review and grant system permissions following set safety standards.
  • Transform Business Needs into Tech Specs: Convert business demands into clear tech instructions for software setup or usage.
  • Craft Documentation: Create guides and training materials to introduce new processes or tools and to aid in training.
  • Be the HRIS Software Liaison: Stand as the main point of contact for HR software suppliers, ensuring a smooth interplay between systems that bolsters our business operations.
  • Oversee HR Tools: Strategize and implement tools related to HR functions like tracking hours, managing benefits, and processing payroll. This includes crafting communication strategies and testing plans.
What you will need:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS, payroll, and similar employee management software.
  • Experience:
    • 2 + years of experience with functional HR systems or HRIS experience, preferably in a Healthcare environment
    • Workday experience preferred
  • Certification: N/a
