Love teaching residents? Position available immediately for a full-time GME Associate Program Director – Dept. of Internal Medicine Spalding, member at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital, a community-based hospital located in Griffin, GA.

Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital is a 160-bed hospital serving the residents of Spalding, Pike, Lamar, Butts, Upson and Henry Counties. It is located just one hour south of downtown Atlanta and approximately 30 minutes south of the Atlanta’s International Airport.

Our GME Internal Medicine group has enjoyed long-term faculty retention and is currently expanding to include an additional full-time faculty member.

Primary responsibility is outpatient/ambulatory supervision/teaching of IM residents. Candidate expected to provide resident lectures, support residents in scholarly activities and assist with ACGME accreditation requirements.

Must be board certified in Internal Medicine. Prior GME involvement is preferred.
