Job Description
The University of Vermont Health Network – Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (www.UVMHealth.org/CVPH) in Plattsburgh, NY seeks a Gastroenterologist to join its hospital-based practice. CVPH is part of a six-hospital network (www.UVMHealth.org) serving northern NY and VT. It is a certified Level III trauma center that works closely with UVM Medical Center, a Level I trauma center located 1 hour away. In addition, EM residents and medical students from UVM have clinical rotations at CVPH.
Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital boasts 300 inpatient beds, inpatient acute rooms that are all private, and a Skilled Nursing Facility. The main hospital sits on a plush 45-acre campus complete with ponds and walking paths. Position Details:
- Busy outpatient component as well as an inpatient consultation service
- Call is 1:5 and moderate
