Job Description
CDM Smith is seeking an Entry Human Resources Operations to join our Corporate Human Resources team. This individual coordinates, researches, prepares and/or schedules one or more human resources activities including background checks, immigration, job postings and employment interviews, new hire onboarding and orientation, registration and shipping for college recruitment events, and relocation under direct supervision. Provides human resources information and initial support to applicants and/or employees.
This role will require to be in our Boston office at least 2 days a week.
- Prepares communications using approved formats for interviews, offer letters, sign on and relocation agreements, on boarding materials, background check forms, and immigration letters, etc. Distributes communications and collects employee forms and documentation. Follows up to obtain missing documentation as necessary.
- Schedules interviews, books candidate travel arrangements, briefs applicants and employees on benefits and human resources policies and programs and responds to their questions regarding human resources policies and programs following standard procedures. Manages reimbursement of candidate expenses. Refers to senior human resources staff if inquiry is outside of normal scope.
- Processes transactions in human management resource systems (HRMS) and/or 3rd party applications including entering interview/applicant status changes. Reviews and manages I-9 forms for collection and retention purposes.
- Processes invoices, check requests and employee expense reimbursements.
- Transmits information to vendors following prescribed procedures to include: data for relocation, background check, job postings, college registrations, etc.
- Participates on HR project teams to improve processes, reduce manual work and increase efficiencies. Administers and coordinates additional programs such as e- Verify, e-Rail safe, college registrations and other programs as necessary.
- Maintains process documentation and files.
- Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 0 years of related experience.
- Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
