End User Computing Analyst II
Position Highlights:
  • Position: End User Computing Analyst II
  • Location: Skokie, IL (4901 Searle Parkway)
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full time
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am – 4:30pm
  • Required Travel: YES – local NorthShore sites (scheduled in advance)
What you will do:
The End User Computing Analyst II provides technical support and problem management to end users on complex issues regarding end user computing operations including installations, moves, adds, system status, etc.
Under minimal direction, provides end user computing support for issues that have not achieved resolution and have subsequently been escalated.
  • Performs maintenance and integration activities as they relate to the end user computing environment inclusive of desktops, laptops, monitors, peripherals, security, inventory, and asset management.
  • Performs all installations, upgrades and may perform backups of software and hardware applications.
  • Troubleshoots software and hardware failures and identifies network problems when they relate to PCs, printers, and peripheral equipment.
  • Coordinates configuration/installation and troubleshooting of end user computing hardware and software.
  • Implements new hardware and performs software testing, helping to establish and maintain NorthShore standards.
  • Provides remote PC support and troubleshooting on issues that are not able to be resolved by the on-site Analyst.
  • Provides status reports, problem summaries, and project status as required.
  • Performs a variety of complicated tasks and may lead and direct the delivery of work by others.
  • Acts as technical lead analyst for special projects involving the deployment and installation of end user computing equipment across the HealthSystem.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected as well as critical problem solving is required.
What you will need:
  • Education: Two-year degree or equivalent experience. Four-year degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.
  • Certification: CompTIA A+ Certification or other similar Certifications preferred
  • Experience: Desired 5 or more years of experience in end user device management, e.g. computers, peripherals, software.
