Job Description
The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group, PC (MAPMG) located throughout the metropolitan Baltimore and Washington, D.C. areas is currently seeking an experienced PRN EM trained physician to work in our South Baltimore Medical Center. The Kaiser Permanente medical care program is the largest and most experienced integrated health-care system in the country. In collaboration with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States, we provide high-quality, patient-centered health care. Through this partnership, our physicians are part of an industry-leading health care delivery model, having access to advanced technological tools and receiving comprehensive practice support.
Our members have easy access to specialists and medical records, thus allowing you to treat the whole patient.
What You Can Expect:
- Non-Traditional Emergency Medicine Opportunities
- Direct patient care from our Emergency Medicine Physicians
- Observation Units staffed by our hospitalist teams
- Collaborative mixed-specialty department, comprised of emergency medicine, family medicine, and hospitalist physicians working together and learning from each other
- 8-10 hour shifts
- Advanced Urgent Care or Urgent Care settings
- Limited overnight coverage
- No Behavioral Health Observation
Minimum Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
- Work visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants
