Job Summary/Basic Functions

An Eastern Kentucky University Student Technology Coordinator utilizes knowledge of informational and instructional technologies, learning management systems, and emerging technologies to design, develop and deliver training, coaching, and support to university constituents; evaluate and maintain a working relationship with the EKU Instructional Design Center (IDC) and Faculty Center for Teaching & Learning (FCTL) teams; and maintain a high level of customer support and documentation for internal and web-based knowledgebases.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree.

Experience: One year of related work experience

Job Duties:

• 35% – Provide administration and development of the EKU learning management system (LMS). – (Essential)
• 30% – Assist with the daily support of campus teaching and learning technologies including ePresence, computer labs, and student technology needs. – (Essential)
• 20% – Provide second-tier LMS and other technology training, coaching, and support to end users. – (Essential)
• 10% – Evaluation and documentation of training and support. – (Essential)
• 5% – Other duties as assigned to insure the efficient operations of the department – (Marginal)
