Computer Systems Analyst (Release Engineering)

DESCRIPTION
The Computer System Analyst will provide technical analysis, design, development, maintenance and modification of broad/complex computer systems. Ideal candidate will be a motivated individual with strong analytical skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Creation of build and release plan

Setting up DevOps pipeline for solutions

Initiate automated builds using Jenkins to successfully deploy the build and promote code to higher environments

Resolve high business impacting incidents to provide enhancements and to deliver new business requirements to commercial deadlines

Ensuring that all IT teams follow the release management process for all releases and escalates any repeated non-conformity

Design and maintenance of the Code Repositories, views and the access control strategies using the available tools

Work closely with application developers, project stakeholders and QA teams

Design and implementation of backup and recovery processes

Develop SQL queries to management data across environments

SKILLS

Well conversant with software development life cycle

Experience in continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), test driven development (TDD) and agile methodologies

Experience with different Unix variants and strong CLI and scripting skills

Software IDE, version control repository tools like Git

Proficiency in RDBMS technologies like MS SQL & Oracle and SQL scripting

Agile software development project management tools like JIRA. Project management tools like MS Project & MS Office

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems or related technical fields with 5 plus years of experience or master degree with 2 plus years of experience
Information Technology: 5 years
JOB TYPE: Full time
SALARY: $65,000
