Job Summary/Basic Functions

To assist the head coach in the administration of a Division I intercollegiate softball program in adherence with all university, ASUN and NCAA rules and regulations to include but not limited to coaching, recruiting, monitoring of academic progress of student-athletes, interactions with parents and other constituents, involvement with camps/clinics and other duties as assigned by the head coach.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required
Master’s Degree Preferred

Experience: Two years of coaching experience required, Division I preferred.
Must have experience working with pitchers.

• 30% – Practices (Player and Team Development) – (Essential)
• 20% – Assist the head coach with game plan development – (Essential)
• 15% – Recruiting – (Essential)
• 10% – Monitor student-athlete academic progress – (Essential)
• 10% – Compliance – (Essential)
• 5% – Assist the head coach in the administration of softball camps and clinics – (Essential)
• 5% – Marketing, promotions, development and community service – (Essential)
• 5% – Other duties as assigned by the head softball coach – (Essential)
