Job Summary/Basic Functions

As a member of EKU’s Office of e-Campus Learning, the Assistant Online Coordinator is responsible for providing services to faculty and students enrolled in the University’s online degree programs to ensure student enrollment, retention and the effective administration of online degree programs. These services can include coordinating the admissions, transfer, and advising processes for online students and providing administrative support to the e-Campus programs.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree required in business, social sciences, education, communications, marketing or related field; Master’s preferred.

Experience: Three to five years of related experience with emphasis on demonstrated competence in customer service and people skills.

Job Duties:

  • 30% – Recruit prospective online students and provide admissions, transfer, and registration services to all incoming new students. – (Essential)
  • 30% – Advise and provide retention services to assigned e-Campus students – (Essential)
  • 25% – Ensure effective administration of assigned online degree programs – (Essential)
  • 10% – Works in cooperation with university departments (e.g., Admissions, Registration, Student Accounting Services, and Financial Aid) – (Essential)
  • 5% – Supports report writing and development initiatives. – (Essential)

Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship will be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending upon the needs of the unit, available sponsorship budget, and the qualifications of the candidate.
