Job Summary/Basic Functions

Incumbent provides high level administration and professional support to the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator and the OTD Capstone Coordinator which are essential to maintaining accreditation
compliance. Duties include ensuring student requirements for fieldwork and capstone are met and current (immunizations, CPR, etc.), coordinating fieldwork and capstone contracts/ MOUs for the Department, communicating with clinicians to coordinate fieldwork and capstone placements, and communicating with students related to fieldwork, capstone, and graduation needs. The person in the position is trained to use a number of specialized software programs and interact with industry specific organizations.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree is required.

Experience: One year related work experience required.

Job Duties:

  • 40% – Manage the operational activities of the Fieldwork office, set priorities; establish and assign priorities; ensure schedules are maintained and deadlines are met. – (Essential)
  • 30% – Communicate with internal and external customers and management to exchange information, resolve issues or concerns, and coordinate activities. – (Essential)
  • 25% – Analyze and summarize research data for reports; Assist in implementing and monitoring strategic plan for department. – (Essential)
  • 5% – Other duties as assigned. – (Essential)

Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship will be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending upon the needs of the unit, available sponsorship budget, and the qualifications of the candidate.

Special Instructions: Requires the ability to communicate and work in partnership with faculty, staff, and students.
