About this role:
 The primary goal of our mobile crisis team is to lessen trauma, divert from emergency departments or the criminal justice system, and prevent unnecessary psychiatric hospitalizations. As a mobile crisis therapist you will support clients and community members that are in crisis to maintain safety, access services, and connect to appropriate care. This position will partner with team members to co respond in the community, while also providing follow up via phone for check ins and assisting clients in accessing resources needed.


The Location and hours:
 A&C is based in Central Indiana. For this position, we service the following county: Johnson

Hours are Three 24 hour shifts in a pay period (One week 2 shifts, One week 1 shift), includes weekends and holidays

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide crisis intervention/emergency services by assessing risk, development of safety plans, reporting of any abuse or neglect, or any other emergency situations
  • Following up with clients who reached out to the afterhours crisis line to follow up and make sure they can connect clients to appropriate level of treatment.
  • Coordinate with internal and external providers to ensure that individuals have access to resources
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships by maintaining open and professional communication with Team Leaders, clients, other consumers/constituencies, referral sources, staff/team members
  • Complete documentation timely and accurately, maintaining ethical standards of Adult & Child

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree and license eligible in Indiana
  • LMHC, LCSW, LCAC or LMFT preferred but not required
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and provide own, insured, transportation
  • Previous experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong organizational skills
