This position is located in Memphis , Tennessee , United States of America. Relocation Assistance provided.
Visa / Green Card Visa Sponsorship is included as part of this position. Up to $2,000 relocation and $8,000 signing bonus for a 3 year commitment.

To be considered you’ll need

Successfully passed NCLEX Exam
A registered nurse (RN) License in the US or Canada.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
One or more years’ nursing experience in Behavioral Health service is preferred – however we are willing to train.
Some clinical nursing experience in medical-surgical, Intensive Care, or Emergency Room is preferred.

Position Type: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse
Schedule: Days and Night shifts available, full time hours – 36 hours a week, rotating weekends.
Shifts: 12 hour shifts — 3 per week
Base Pay Range:USD $34.00 – $43.00 / hr
Pay Differentials by shift:

Monday – Friday
3-11pm = additional $2.00/ hr
11pm-7am = additional $3.00 / hr
Weekends
7am-3pm = additional $3.50 / hr
3-11pm = additional $6.00 / hr
11pm-7am = additional $6.50 / hr

If you worked one weekend 3-11pm shift each week you would earn an extra $2,500 per year.

Delta Specialty Hospital is a behavioral health facility in Memphis Tennessee that specializes in acute inpatient and outpatient treatment for psychiatric & substance abuse concerns. This position is for an inpatient behavioral health registered nurse. If you are passionate about behavioral health, positive and team oriented, we want you to make a difference here.
Our Ideal Candidate will

Provide and coordinate care by assessing physical and behavioral health needs of patients, develop and implement nursing care plans, maintain medical records and educate patients and their families about various physical and behavioral health conditions.
Provide nursing care and services within the standards and scope of nursing practice as defined within the state Nurse Practice Act regulations, policies, procedures and protocols, as well as facility and corporate policies and procedures.
Collaborate with others to ensure that all patients’ physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental and cultural needs are met and when they are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve customer complaints.
Notify physicians of significant changes in status such as difficulties with detox, medical emergency or change in medical status regarding response to medications, etc.
Ensure nursing treatment plans are specific to assessed needs and initial treatment plans are completed upon admission.
Accurately administer medications per ordered note and document accurate count of controlled substance medication administration on required documents.
Exhibit therapeutic rapport with patients by maintaining professional boundaries, being respectful to personal space, giving patient direct attention and maintaining rational detachment.
Provide direction or coordinate the activities of the unit as directed.
Communicate therapeutically and professionally with patients, visitors, coworkers and others involved in patient treatment in an effective manner.
