Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Relocation Specialist position pertains to the moving of campus deliveries, pick up of unwanted or reused materials and office furniture. The relocation Specialist will also move internal offices, and classrooms, and set up events throughout campus, including graduation ceremonies, weddings, and banquets. The Relocation specialist team is part of Facilities Management and will also be directed to assist where and when they are needed to complete other tasks at hand to benefit our campus community.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED required

Experience: One of work experience

Licensure & Certifications: Valid state drivers license is required

Preferred Qualifications:

Job Duties:

  • 20% – Completes daily work orders – ()
  • 20% – Event Coordinator/Setup/Take-down: Graduation, Catered Events, Groundbreaking Ceremonies, Dedications, Installations, Homecoming Festivities, Music Events, and other events as directed. – ()
  • 20% – Delivers new and existing furniture and equipment – ()
  • 20% – Collects and Processes Recyclable Material – ()
  • 20% – Provides Courier Service to Extended Campus Locations – ()
