Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal

candidate is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the

accounting department, including the preparation of financial statements, maintaining

general ledger accuracy, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and

regulations. This role plays a critical part in the month-end and year-end close

processes, financial reporting, and internal audits. The ideal candidate has strong

analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead and mentor junior accounting

staff.

Key Responsibilities

● Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

● Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.

● Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.

● Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules.

● Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations.

● Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

● Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.

● Review and improve accounting systems, procedures, and controls.

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).

● 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.

● Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

● Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).

● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.

● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

● Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

● Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

● Experience in food and beverage or hospitality industry

● Knowledge of tax regulations and reporting requirements.

● Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting.

● Fluent English and Chinese are highly preferred.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
