“Type: Contract role (Night Shift)
Project term: 12 months with potential to extend
*Visa: US Citizen, Green card holder, H4 EAD, L2 – We don’t accept OPT or CPT or H1B*
*Language: Mandarin (MUST!) + English *
Hourly rate: $20 – $30/hr (1099 basis)
*Responsibilities*
* Assist supervisor or department head with system enhancements, including patching, software/hardware installation and upgrades, and system configuration.
* Support daily operation of banking compliance systems by following established procedures.
* Help prepare documents and reports for IT management.
* Respond promptly to helpdesk tickets and end-user requests.
*Requirements:*
* College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* 1+ year of experience in IT Helpdesk, Windows/Linux administration, Microsoft SQL Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Apache, SSH, cybersecurity, etc.
* Ability to troubleshoot Windows, Linux, networking, and system-related issues.
* Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin).
* Willing to participate in occasional after-hours system updates.
* IT certifications are a plus.
*On-site hours*: Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM, with possible overtime for batch issue resolution.
*Hybrid schedule*: 3 days onsite/ week. Must be able to work fully on-site when required.
*Note*:
* 1ST round is via Zoom; 2nd round is in-person.
* We don’t provide laptop. Please ensure consultant has a Windows 10 installed laptop for VPN connection and Remote Desktop.

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
