Implement and rollout solutions developed in Pythong and C# in AMERICAS region and supports globally to strive for a standard solution WW
Support the development team in the machine profile development in Beckhoff, Siemens and Pythong technologies
Provides service and support to the AMERICAS plants
Communication with all involved parti to solve the issues
Codebeamer reporting of activities and activities related to the projects
Documentation of functional descriptions in PoMs
Communication with different stakeholders (QM, CCM IT, PE, MTAs, Plants)
Develop innovation strategies on the basis of benchmark analysis.
Continuously review the strategy for the IT interfaces standards of tire manufacturing production machinery
Implementation of IT – interfaces for all machinery in the Hot/Stock prep. area, TBM, Curing, Final Finish.Knowledge management:
Knowledge transfer done by conducting trainings to the local teams in the plants, and also to the MTE organization
Sophisticated problem solving approach (not try and error)
Build up database and keep it update on clusters of failures and sharing
coaching the local Engineering to empower them on the Digital Solutions projects and knowledge sharing
follow up of agreed training plans
ensure implementation of measures and maintain controls
raise awareness and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties
ensure immediate notification and response, and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards
demonstrate exemplary personal behavior in ESH and motivate others
Engineering support into dedicated projects
Project management knowledge: coordination of project teams, budget, tasks, timing.
Supporting MTAs on new machinery during FIP and PMAs
Support engineering projects (specification, negotiation, acceptance).
Support of Project Engineers, roll-out team:
programming of specific PLC programs
validation of new machine functions / processes
Identify gaps in the current processes and systems towards IT interfaces in the plants
Propose, develop and implement improvement actions towards overall performance of the IT interfaces function in the plants.
Check CRs and consult ( plants+ET ) during CR issuing.
Check and give recommendation for plant investment >50T€.
Support Tire Invest + Corporate Purchasing.
Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Automation, Information Technology, or similar field
Minimum 1 year working in Continental Tire Manufacturing Environment
Experience in commissioning and service support
Experience working on a project team
Open minded and open for travelling and meeting new cultures
High willingness to travel worldwide – traveling ~30 – 50% -majority are short trips max 3 weeks
U.S. visa sponsorship available to current Continental employees only
Multilingual (English + additional language(s))
2+ years working in a manufacturing environment
3+ years experience in electrical engineering – preferable field service
Advanced coaching skills
Willingness to travel on short notice
