The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Product Owner of R&D Applications within the Product Informatics & Modeling group, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

Work with business leaders, scientists, engineers to translate business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables, including the design, development, testing, and deployment of prototype applications, and models within applications
Perform systematic product analysis to provide roadmaps, program goals and related metrics, adoption strategies and transition of technology plans.
Collaborate and communicate with R&D, IT and cross-functional teams to gain support for the strategy and roadmap by writing narratives and influencing peers.
Build sustainable processes for software product development spanning from prototype to steady state including developing and owning strategies to maintain and harden prototype applications
Lead a team of software and data engineers to build prototypes and applications that serve both the R&D and business users.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in from an accredited institution (verified prior to start) AND Ten (10) years experience in industry, academics, government
High school diploma/ GED or higher AND 14 years of experience in industry, academics, government

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline from an accredited institution (verified prior to start)
Three (3) experience as people leader and/or software application product owner
5+ years of software product development experience with applications in the health care industry or related industries.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrated success in leading, growing, and coaching software development teams in an innovative culture.
Demonstrated technical product management including documenting requirements, building roadmaps/delivery plans to serve user needs.
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies or waterfall development practices, adapting and evolving processes for maximum growth and efficiency.

Work location:

Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Maplewood, MN at least 3 days per week)

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic and/or international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $183,301 – $224,034, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
