Job Summary/Basic Functions

Digital Engagement Center student managers are peer leaders to students who are calling, texting, and emailing EKU alumni and friends for the purposes of engagement and fundraising. The work environment is competitive, yet fun and rewarding.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled at EKU

Preferred Qualifications:

One semester of work experience as a Digital Engagement Center student caller.
Handle personal information with confidentiality.
Strong leadership skills.
Personable attitude.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Comfort in soliciting gifts.
Organizational abilities and attentiveness to details.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Enthusiasm for Eastern, its mission and programs.

Job Duties:

  • 75% – Overseeing students who call alumni and friends on behalf of the university – (Essential)
  • 10% – Texting and emailing alumni and friends of the university – (Essential)
  • 10% – Helping to complete mailings to alumni and friends of the university – (Essential)
  • 5% – Helping to plan for the year and organize the Digital Engagement Center – (Essential)

Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship will be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending upon the needs of the unit, available sponsorship budget, and the qualifications of the candidate.

Special Instructions: Applicants should have at least one semester of experience as a Digital Engagement Center student caller.
