Job Summary/Basic Functions

This position requires working on EKU Richmond campus one-two days per month; other hours will be done remotely (preferably in Kentucky). This is a part-time, non-benefited position with a hybrid working schedule. The position requires 20 hours per week at $20 per hour.

An EKU Data Analyst develops system codes, provides systems and data information and provides system problem resolutions to university users through knowledge of software/language and system data and development of best practices through research. This is done to serve the University’s information needs and to assist in easy facilitation of productive business practices of the University.

This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required.
Knowledge of relational databases and computer software and languages is required.
Required experience with SAS or Python.

Job Duties:

• 60% – Completing ad hoc data requests from internal/external entities, using databases, excel, flat files, and programming languages to accomplish these tasks. – (Essential)
• 35% – Collaborating with Institutional Research & Data Analytics team on high-level programming tasks and projects. – (Essential)
• 5% – Other duties and responsibilities as needed. – (Essential)
