Position Overview:
As part of our Danbury team, the Customer Property Associate 1 will have an exciting opportunity to develop their knowledge of Government Property Management within a highly regulated environment. This individual will gain experience in inventory management and logistics
Responsibilities:
In this position, you will develop an understanding of:
- Creating and maintaining asset records for all company property including e Property Outcomes of the FAR as it relates to 52.245-1
- Movement of government property throughout the building.
- Conduct self-assessments and audits
- Generate asset reports as required
- Physical inventory and tagging of marking of assets.
- Tagging and marking of assets
- Assistance in the management of calibrated property to ensure location accuracy and movement to support next calibration due dates
- Maintain inventory database systems to include transaction record updates
- Tow motor operations and warehouse duties
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma; Associates or Bachelor’s preferred
Experience Required:
- Self-disciplined with a proven track record of driving project deadlines/milestones within a dynamic environment while maintaining the highest standard of compliance and quality.
- Ability to speak up as appropriate and escalate issues as required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of flexibility and assist others as needed.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learning new technologies; ERP experience (SAP) a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to problem-solve and resolve daily issues.
- Ability to speak up as appropriate while identifying and escalating issues as required.
- MS Office Suite: proficiency Adobe Acrobat a plus.
- Qualified to operate powered industrial vehicles
- Ability to learn how to use barcode scanners and label printers
EHS/Environmental Requirements:
- Position requires incumbents to adhere to all safety and health regulations and wear PPE as required.
- Tow motor operations and warehouse duties
- Periods of standing, lifting, walking, bending and inventory duties.
