Adult & Child Health is an integrated healthcare provider in Central Indiana. About this role: This is the final stage of A&C’s building of services in the crisis continuum. This position will allow clients to not only a person to call, a person to respond, but now a place to go. As a Therapist in this role, you will assess client’s coming in for crisis intervention and ensure appropriate next level of care.

The Location and hours: A&C is based in Central Indiana. For this position, we service the following county: Marion

Hours are currently 2-10pm but this may vary and is determined by SLT. Days are Thursday-Monday.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assess new admissions for Living Room/Crisis Stabilization Unit.
  • Complete intakes and assessments.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions as appropriate for milieu of the program.
  • Ensure appropriate discharge plan or next level of care.
  • Provide support and oversight for peer staff on shift.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree and license eligible in Indiana
  • LMHC, LCSW, LCAC or LMFT preferred but not required
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and provide own, insured, transportation
  • Previous experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong organizational skills
