BUSINESS ANALYST (BA)

Job Description

Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance/Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or similar

Experience: 4-7 years as an IT Business Analyst or similar role.

Skills needed:

Excellent communication skills

Should be able to work with little or no supervision

Should be able to work in a team environment

Should have a very good understanding of each phase of the SDLC

Should be able to gather requirements unambiguously

Should be able to create user stories and enter them in JIRA

Should be able to perform gap analysis (As-Is & To-Be) and create simple to complex BPMs using MS Visio or any other tools

Should be able to create UML digrams

Technical Writing: Should be able to create/write professional BRD, FRD, User Stories, Use Case Document and other project documentation.

QA Testing: Should be able work with the QA team and involved in testing and UAT

Should have experience working in both Waterfall and Agile-Scrum se-ups

Well verse with MS Office suite (Word, XL, PPT, Outlook, SharePoint)

Knowledge in Project Management is a plus.
