Job Summary/Basic Functions
The Counselor/Senior Admissions Counselor is responsible for the identification and recruitment of qualified new undergraduate students to the University. They will either recruit in an out-of-state and implement recruitment strategies, and establish relationships with prospective students, parents, secondary school counselors involved in the college selection process. The Counselor/Senior Admissions Counselor will use a Client Relationship Management (CRM) tool to track and conduct follow up with new inquires, applicants and admitted students and for developing communications in all mediums; email, written correspondence, social media, and telephonic. They will orchestrate market or be based off-campus in a regional location of high recruitment potential. They will also conduct market analysis, employ predictive modeling to inquiry development, recommend travel to ensure maximum coverage of regional college fairs in selected markets.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s preferred.
Experience: Three years of related work experience is required.
Previous experience as an Admissions Counselor or progressive leadership experience in Admissions is preferred.
Licensure & Certifications: Valid state driver’s license is required.
