Summary
The Supervisor of Inflight Training is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of Inflight training and administration. This individual will ensure that Allegiant delivers industry leading training to flight attendants in accordance with approved training programs. The Supervisor of Inflight Training shall have daily oversight of the Inflight Training operation, to include daily operation of Allegiant’s two training centers as it relates to Inflight Training and ensuring consistent training delivery at both locations. The Supervisor will oversee Inflight’s Inflight Field Instructor, Air Transportation Supervisor and Mentor teams.

Minimum Requirements
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: High School Diploma/GED or Associate’s Degree in related fields
Years of Experience: Minimum two (2) year experience in aviation, operational experience preferred. Minimum two (2) years experience of managing people required
Preferred Requirements
- Must pass Allegiant Flight Attendant Training and maintain currency
- Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively with people at all levels
- Professional demeanor, excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Proficient in the use of PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office Products
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and related requirements
- Must have a valid passport and Nevada driver’s license
- The ability to read, write, and speak English in order to receive and understand instructions, directives, and ensure safety, as well as the ability to interact with customers, is a requirement of the job.
Job Duties
- Manage team of 100+ Instructors, Air Transportation Supervisors, and Mentors, including performance management and continuous improvement
- Manage all Inflight training logistics to include instructor assignments, syllabus, and all training events to include initial, recurrent, IOE, and requalification training
- Oversight of the Air Transportation Supervisor program to include monthly line audit (MLA) assignments
- Manage all Inflight Training processes and procedures to ensure compliance with the Inflight Training Manual (IFTM)
- Ensure approved training is delivered in accordance with the IFTM
- Serve as MLA Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Monthly Inflight Safety Committee meetings in communicating line audit trend data
- Lead Inflight Training Coordinator to ensure adherence to and completion of all administrative responsibilities and a smooth operation of all training functions
- Provide leadership and delegation of projects to instructors during non-training periods to ensure critical deadlines are met
- Strong working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) specific to the flight attendant role
- Ability to work with outside government agencies (i.e. FAA) and effectively articulate compliance and mitigating efforts
- Ensure any direct reports understand and apply our Customer Commitment and customer service standards to their daily responsibilities as appropriate.
- Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing leadership direction.

Office – While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
