Law Clerk/Paralegal

Job Description

Di Li Law, P.C. (located in City of Industry) is looking to hire a Unlawful Detainer Law Clerk/Paralegal. Must be fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin).
MUST BE ABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY!
*Preferred: Previous U.S. law firm experiences.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys with unlawful detainer cases, such as case filing, case management, billing, communication with clients, etc.;
Draft various eviction notices, pleadings, motions, forms, letters, etc.;
Utilize eFiling systems and professional service company order systems to submit legal documents, track filing and service statuses, communicate with court clerks via phone or email;
Collaborate with civil enforcement departments, prepare sheriff instructions, monitor writ enforcement progress, notify clients of lockout dates;
Communicate with clients regarding case updates and assist attorneys with other legal tasks as required.

Requirements:

Fluency in both English and Mandarin.
Legal education background (Bachelor of Law, LLM or JD).
Attention to details.
Work authorization.
Strong communication skills and work ethics.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
