“Title: Bilingual Senior Mechanical Designer
Location: Phoenix, AZ (On-Site)
Type: Full-Time; Direct Hire

Pay Range: $80,000 – $120,000/year

*Responsibilities*
* Design and coordinate mechanical and plumbing systems for construction projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IBC, LEED).
* Develop basis of design narratives, perform load calculations, and create construction design documents using *Revit* and *AutoCAD*.
* Manage project workflows and deliverables, delegating work effectively to production staff and providing mentorship to junior team members.
* Collaborate with clients, architects, consultants, and contractors to define project requirements and present engineering solutions.
* Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in mechanical/plumbing systems by communicating with manufacturers and contractors.
* Oversee construction administration tasks to ensure successful project outcomes, including submittal reviews and field inspections.
* Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

*Qualifications*
* Fluency in *Mandarin* and English speaking is a MUST!
* Minimum of 10 years designing mechanical/plumbing systems in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.
* Proficiency in *Revit* and *AutoCAD*.
* Experience with Trane Trace load calculations, HVAC system layouts, plumbing system equipment, and piping layout.
* Familiarity with software tools such as COMcheck, Excel, OneNote, and Word.
* Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to lead and mentor team members, and effective collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
* Demonstrated organizational skills, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to professional growth.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $82,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
