The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Senior Healthcare Performance Advisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Leading the delivery of data analysis and reporting for assigned 3M Performance Data Monitoring clients. Analyzing and recommending solutions for client documentation improvement processes, data inconsistency trends and key performance indicators. Coaching clients on the use of 3M web-based reporting tools
Delivering performance advisory services in a timely and professional manner, based on contractual and service line agreements for assigned clients and with minimal supervision from senior team. Collaborating with other 3Mers in Health Information Systems to improve web-based tools
Managing key client relationships. Presenting analytical results in an organized and meaningful approach to client members in a variety of roles from department level staff to senior leadership
Identifying process improvement opportunities within the team.
Applying documentation and coding rules/regulations for DRG and APR DRG assignment when reviewing and analyzing data
Identifying opportunities and collaborating with sales and consulting services to drive new sales and expand the scope of current client agreements. Supporting the onboarding of new clients and participating in special projects or other duties assigned by manager
Participating in relevant corporate programs/initiatives
Ensuring professional, quality and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties
Complying with corporate policies and procedures while acting in a manner consistent with 3M’s values and ethical standards
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university in Nursing, Health Information Management, Business, Physical or Biological Science OR High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution, along with certification as a RHIA, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Clinical Documentation Improvement, Health Information Management or Healthcare Analytics, in lieu of the bachelor’s degree education requirement
Minimum of two (2+) years of experience in clinical nursing, health information management and/or healthcare finance
Minimum of three (3+) combined years of experience analyzing and processing healthcare data, identifying anomalies and/or recommending corrective courses of action
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Ability to identify data anomalies and suggest corrective courses of action
Four years of consulting experience or comparable experience that demonstrates expert skills in healthcare data analysis, report writing and verbal presentations
Ability to manage, interact and present to the most senior level client leadership
Inpatient coding, outpatient coding, Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) and/or chart audit experience
knowledge and expertise in outpatient clinical documentation integrity, risk adjustment payment methodologies, ambulatory revenue cycle and professional/physician services (coding and reimbursement) a plus but not required
Proven track record in successful client relationships including, but not limited to, add on sales and/or positive client references for Solventum
Work location:

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $137,439 – $167,981, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
