Structural Concrete: foundations, slab-on-grade, cast-in-place walls & columns, suspended cast-in-place slabs, cast- in-place slab-on-metal deck, tilt-up panels, seismic retrofits, slab in-fills, cast-in-place stairs, etc.
Site Concrete: curbs, gutters, sidewalks, ramps, retaining walls, seat walls, decorative concrete, asphalt patching, etc. Associated Work: structural excavation, drilled piers, demolition, scanning / locating, asphalt paving, striping, concrete reinforcement, earthwork / grading, etc.

Project Engineer
Responsibilities for this position include the following:
Contributes and facilitates in a formal presentation for a project
Always promotes the highest level of professionalism and ethics
Develops and facilitates the start of new projects with a good understanding of the estimate and unit costs
Compiles, submits, maintains and distributes submittals and submittal log
Compiles and submits change orders including detailed cost breakdown, cover letter, and T&M tags through knowledge and research of cost of work and communication with field personnel
Records and maintain Change Order Request (COR) log
Composes, submits, and distributes RFI’s
Reviews plan updates, including identifying changes and providing notifications to clients
Coordinates and distributes paperwork from field to office staff and vice versa
Reviews subcontractor quotations, issues subcontracts, and coordinates with subcontractors
Follows-up and resolves change order requests
Reviews job cost reports and tracks labor hours and job cost to budget
Enters accurate data into Work-In-Progress (WIP) forecast spreadsheet
Reviews construction schedules
Updates schedule of values for monthly billing

Requirements for this position include the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience,
2-5 years of experience as an engineer or project engineer in the construction industry possessing solid experience with structural concrete and / or site concrete, and
extensive training and understanding of the technical and business aspects of construction project management.
Location: Milpitas, CA (Hybrid schedule)
Salary range:$88k -$105k
