The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Senior Logistics Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Support modal team across all modes of transport in USAC (TL, LTL, Parcel, Rail, Intermodal, etc.)
Align closely with performance team to manually pull carrier and other external data when required to provide insight into service challenges
Gain expertise in 3M’s Power BI and reporting capabilities to assist in ‘telling stories’ when there are gaps in execution for freight costs, on time, quality,, etc.
Assist modal leaders in pulling together QBR scorecards
Gather data for and actively participate in the preparation and execution of domestic RFPs across all modes
Manage specific carrier escalations as directed from modal leaders
Provide guidance and assistance on behalf of modal leadership to freight settlement, freight claims, and other administrative processes
Provide assistance and process leadership form operations into new carrier setup activities
Lead activities in benchmarking USAC transportation (DATiQ, Lanehub, etc.)
Responsible for KPIs:
Data support behind modal spends and volume shifts
Service metrics in related to USAC Transportation provider performance
USAC hopper and value creation programs
Quality KPI’s (DPPM, Claims, Scrap)
Scorecard support across all modes
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
Seven (7) years of Supply Chain Operations experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
Seven (7) years of logistics value creation and multi-modal analytical experience with combination of transportation modes.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Ability to be flexible and agile taking on projects with limited oversight.
Master’s degree in Business discipline
Strong analytical skills and financial acumen
Excellent written & oral communication skills, presentation skills, and interpersonal skills
Advanced Microsoft suite skills
Business Transformation or SAP experience, specifically with the Transportation Module
Logistics technology implementation experience preferred.
Work location:
Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid)
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $119,076 – $145,537, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
