The Department of Revenue is looking to add members to the Operation Solutions Team to create communication and engagement programs to reach a diverse employee base. We’re looking for tech savvy creative superstars with exceptional communication skills to collaborate with key stakeholders to drive best practices and develop innovative operations solutions using Microsoft 365 tools.
The Operation Solutions Team supports the daily coordination, governance of content, visual design, and site navigation for the department’s SharePoint intranet platform. These positions will drive agency internal communication strategies to enhance employee engagement through use of the department’s SharePoint intranet platform and Microsoft 365 tools. The Operation Solutions Team members play a large role in the department’s Business Innovators Group (BIG) product team, this team utilizes agile project management methodologies to continually develop innovate business solutions to improve the employee experience within the department. In this role you will have the opportunity to lead change and engage with employees from across the department by making recommendations to improve work methods and procedures using SharePoint, Microsoft 365 applications, and other appropriate platforms.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Three years of intranet management and employee communications experience*
Strong teamwork skills, including willingness and ability to consult with subject matter experts from operational teams within the organization
Strong project management or facilitation skills
Bachelor’s degree in a related field as determined by the agency may substitute as one (1) year of professional experience, a Master’s degree may substitute as eighteen (18) months of professional experience.

Applicants who meet the above experience requirements will be further evaluated based on the following:

Advanced level proficiency with various Microsoft 365 applications
Exceptional written and oral communication skills to effectively develop and present on operational policies and procedures
Strong project management or facilitation skills
Ability to prepare comprehensive reports, policies, and procedures
Ability to identify, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve critical management issues

Preferred Qualifications

Experience leading organization-wide operational planning efforts and establishing process timelines and deliverables
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships and to influence/negotiate positive outcomes with internal and external partners
Demonstrated experience leading and managing change
Desire and ability to innovate and improve upon processes, with experience leading organization-wide operational planning efforts and establishing process timelines and deliverables.
Ability to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace and work with individuals from all background, with the experience of creating a work environment where differences are valued, encouraged, and supported
Experience juggling multiple projects with fluctuating deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
Experience exhibiting judgment on complex and ambiguous issues, fostering collaboration among leaders, teams, and stakeholders.

Physical Requirements
Requires occasional moving of articles such as boxes, accounting records, laptop computer, and portable printer.
