Job Summary/Basic Functions

Develop and maintain an effective public relations and marketing program for EKU’s e-Campus and associated programs in support of University strategic plans. The incumbent will create, implement, and oversee marketing activity, branding, electronic and print-based marketing initiatives and advertising, and website content creation and maintenance for the EKU e-Campus. The incumbent will ensure that initiatives effectively reach relevant audiences and will analyze and report on results of marketing efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: – Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Technical Writing, Journalism, English or other related field is required

Experience: – Three years related work experience is required.

• Experience in marketing and business development in higher education is preferred.

Job Duties:

• 70% – Develop, implement and lead marketing/sales campaigns and market research initiatives to attract new customers, retain and grow existing business, and meet revenue goals. – ()
• 15% – Plan, implement, and manage the e-Campus’ communication strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure clear consistent communication to all audiences. – ()
• 10% – Develop and implement visibility plans to create and maintain the desired brand image of the e-Campus. – ()
• 5% – Build effective relationships, report on activity/results, and complete all other duties as assigned by the Executive Director. – ()

Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship will be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending upon the needs of the unit, available sponsorship budget, and the qualifications of the candidate.
