Plant Manager
Position Summary
The plant manager is responsible for the TimberQuest fabrication operations at the factory. They are responsible for safety, quality, and production. They directly report to Preconstruction Director, and directly manage the plant labor.
Responsibilities:
Oversees daily operations.
Primarily responsible for deliveries and shipments.
Primary responsibility for ordering materials and supplies; Keeps inventory and periodically places replenishment orders.
Ensure the safety of all personnel. Compliance with all safety standards. Drives safety first culture.
Training of all personnel.
Fosters positive and welcoming work environment.
Quality control for all products.
Directly manages plant labor. Interviews and hires plant labor. Terminates employment if necessary.
Tracks production and productivity.
Continuous improvement of plant.
Drives lean culture.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of plant operations.
Experience in a manufacturing or assembly plant.
Effective communicator, in both English and Spanish.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Proven experience with assessing efficiencies and identifying bottlenecks that improve productivity.
